This policy explains how Differend Business Solutions IKE (“Differend”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit differend.gr or contact us through it. We process personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019.

Who is responsible

What we collect and why

Contact form. When you send the form we receive your name, email address, phone number and your message. We use them only to answer your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Emails and phone calls. If you email or call us, we use the details you give us for the same purpose and on the same legal basis.

Spam protection. When you start filling in a form, Google reCAPTCHA checks that it is being used by a person and not by a bot. To do this it processes technical data about your device and how you interact with the page. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your cookie choice. We record your cookie choice together with a random identifier, the date and a shortened IP address (the last part is removed), so that we can show that we asked for your consent. Legal basis: our legal obligation to be able to demonstrate consent (Art. 7(1) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Analytics and advertising. Only if you accept them, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and Google Ads to measure the results of our ads. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The details are in our Cookie Policy.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions or profiling that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who receives your data

Only the people at Differend who handle your request see your data. We also use these service providers, who process data on our behalf under a contract with us:

  • Pointer (TH. PAPAMICHAIL VAINAS – G. PSALTAKIS OE, Thessaloniki, Greece): hosting of the website and its database, including contact-form messages, and our email, through which those messages reach us. The servers are in Greece.
  • Google Ireland Limited: reCAPTCHA spam protection and, only with your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads.

Google may transfer data to the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, and by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Contact-form messages and related emails: 24 months after our last contact. If they lead to a contract, we keep them for as long as tax and commercial law requires.
  • Records of cookie choices: 3 years, after which they are deleted automatically.
  • Analytics data: no longer than 14 months, as set in Google Analytics.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it). To exercise any of these rights, write to info@differend.gr. We will reply within one month.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

Security

The site works only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to contact-form messages is limited to authorised staff, and we keep our software up to date.

Children

Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 15.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
